Service Documentation

This is VO-compatible archive of spectra exposed by the team of Stellar department of Astronomical Institute of the Czech Academy of Science in their allocated time on spectrograph HEROS attached to the Ondrejov 2m Telescope from October 2000 to March 2003. The spectra were exposed by two cameras - red (5840-8350A) and blue (3650-5650A). The HEROS was at that time on the loan from Landessternwarte Heidelberg.

Overview

You can access this service using:

dlget -- a datalink interface letting specialized clients retrieve parts of datasets or discover related data. You use this kind of service exclusively in combination with a pubdid, usually via a direct link.
form -- allows access via an HTML form
dlmeta -- a datalink interface for discovering access options (processed data, related datasets...) for a dataset. You usually need a publisherDID to use this kind of service. For special applications, the base URL of this service might still come handy: http://vos2.asu.cas.cz/heros/q/sdl/dlmeta

This service is not published. This can mean that it was deemed too unimportant, for internal use only, or is just a helper for a published service. Equally likely, however, it is under development, abandoned in development or otherwise unfinished. Exercise caution.
